Throughout the year we run an assisted neutering scheme for cats and dogs, for people on means-tested benefits living within the DY1-9 postcodes. 

Dogs

We will pay a contribution of £50 towards the cost of your dog spay/neuter (Please note this is a new scheme running from 1 January 2023)

To use this scheme you will need to ensure that you are able to take your animal to our partner vets, Powis & Partners, based in Stourbridge. You will be required to take your dog in for a pre-op check prior to the day of the operation. Please allow up to a week for your voucher to arrive.

Cats

Cat neutering is done in collaboration with Cats Protection - to see full details of the scheme and which vets are participating please visit West Midlands neutering campaign | Neutering | Cats Protection. You will pay £10 towards the cost of neutering and microchipping your cat if you qualify for the scheme

Pedigrees

If you have purchased a pedigree dog (including designer crossbreeds) or pedigree cat, please note our assisted scheme does not cover these animals. If there are exceptional circumstances please email us in advance of applying for a voucher.
