How will we use your kind donation?

RSPCA rehoming unwanted petsLike any charity one of our main priorities is raising money to keep our activities going. One of the main problems we face is that people think because we are the RSPCA, we have 'millions' of pounds. We are a local branch, and as such, we are a separate charity to the National RSPCA. We certainly do not have 'millions' stashed away! We are totally volunteer run and self funding - all the money we spend on Stourbridge animals must be raised by us in Stourbridge.

Our dedicated team of foster carers rehome in excess of 170 animals per year, this website is helping us become more successful at rehoming which in turn means we can resuce more vulnerable animals.

This of course means we need to raise more funds to cover the ever increasing costs, below is a list of some of the things we need to spend our funds on;

  • Vet treatments such as health checks, vaccinations, microchipping and neutering
  • Vet treatments such as medication and operations for sick and injured animals
  • Pet food to feed all of our animals in foster care
  • Flea and worming treatments
  • Hutches, pens & runs for our animals
  • Petrol expenses for our volunteers involved in home visits, animal rescue and vets trips

Financial Donations.

There are several ways you can donate to our branch. You can use the PayPal Donate button on this page and various other pages on our site, alternatively if you would like to send a cheque, set up a standing order to our account, or if a cash donation is best for you please call our branch treasurer on 01384 394255 who will be able to advise on how to go about making your donation.

Donate Pet Food and other items

We are always grateful to receive good quality pet food to feed our animals in care. Donations of pet food release funds to be used else where within the branch. We mostly need cat, rabbit and guinea pig food. Whiskas pouches are always able to be used! Other items such as unwanted cat beds, scratch posts, pet carriers etc would also be a greatly appreciated.
