Kittens Dolly and Diego were rescued from a very dangerous and unsuitable environment, having had no human interaction prior to coming into foster care. The duo were just two of nine other cats and kittens saved from the same situation and brought into our care.
Diego is around 6 months old and is a shy boy. A little unsure at first, he does soon relax once he’s being held as his foster mommy has spent lots of time working with him to let him know he’s now safe.
Sister Dolly was by far the smallest of all of the kittens. Weighing less than 400g at her time of rescue, it was decided she would go to a foster home on her own initially so she could be bottle fed. She was reunited with her siblings when strong enough and Diego welcomed her back with open paws!
Naturally, Dolly was scared and wary however she’s come on really well considering such a turbulent start to her young life. She is still timid and similarly to Diego, will need time and patience as we are sure they will both be unsettled with a move away from their foster Mummy.
The pair have such a lovely bond and will snuggle up together for comfort and reassurance. Please understand they will need patience and love, they have had such an awful start in life and they will take time to settle and adjust to a new home. We are hopeful, that given plenty of time, they will come on even further.
We’re now starting the search for a loving forever home together, where their new family can take the time to gain their trust and let them settle in their own time. They will need a kitten proof room, where they can be allowed to explore safely whilst the bonds with their new owner(s) can be formed. They have lived successfully with cat friendly dogs in foster care however, due to their timidness, we will be looking for a home with no young children.

Please note with the increase in cost of veterinary treatment we now require adopters to take out relevant insurance - we will provide more information during the adoption process.
