Chilli (tabby with white) initially came into our care from an animal hospital where she wasn’t coping well with the surroundings.
She started to come out of herself when she was allowed access to a catio and could see her fosterer’s own cats. Chilli is a proper little character when you get to know her, but since she’s been through so much, she’s not too keen on human contact. She will, however, sit and listen intently when you talk to her and will do anything for lick-e-lix! And she loves rolling around in the sunshine.
Unfortunately, her first home didn’t work out - we knew from then on she needed a feline companion to keep her company. Cue Inca…
Inca came from a hoarding situation, needing to be in more of a home-foster environment with other feline company. He and Chilli hit it off immediately! Although Chilli is definitely the boss if Inca gets a bit too boisterous.
Inca is a total love bug. His favourite spot is on his foster mom’s lap, wrapped in her arms. Being younger than Chilli he does love a game too; an all-round people cat. By homing Chilli and Inca together they will each be with a friend in, initially, unfamiliar surroundings; Inca is more confident so will hopefully show Chilli that she has landed on her feet.
We’d love to find Chilli and Inca a quiet home, with no children and either a catio or cat proofed garden. Ideally, someone would be at home most of the time so Inca gets his love and Chilli can come round to being around people. We’re sure in the right circumstances Chilli will come on leaps and bounds - she just needs a quiet, understanding owner/s to let her take her own time. The duo will also require
